Our founder spent more than 30 years in the marine industry before bringing laser cleaning to the Gulf South, so boats are where this business started. Salt air, brackish water and Louisiana humidity attack every piece of metal on a vessel, and most of the fixes involve grit, chemicals or grinders, none of which belong near the water or on a finished boat.
Trailers
The trailer is usually the rustiest thing a boat owner has. Laser cleaning strips the frame, axles, fenders, winch post and hardware in place, at the marina, in the yard or in your driveway. There is no blast media to get into the boat and no chemical stripper to rinse off. The frame is dry when we finish and ready for primer.
Rails, cleats and hardware
Tea staining and rust bloom on stainless, corrosion on steel fittings, and oxidation on aluminum all come off without abrasion. Threads, machined faces and polished surfaces are preserved because nothing touches them but light.
Steel hulls, decks and workboats
For commercial and workboat owners, laser cleaning prepares steel for inspection, welding and recoating without filling the yard with dust. It is especially useful around welds, in corners and on thin plate where blasting is hard to control.
Brightwork and varnish
Old varnish and failed finishes on teak and other brightwork come off without sanding, so the wood keeps its thickness and profile. We can set the laser to remove only the clear finish and leave the stain underneath.
Engines and gear
Baked-on grease and carbon on engines, drivelines and deck machinery are removed without solvents or pressure washing, and the equipment goes back to work without drying time.

Quick answers
Can you laser clean a boat trailer?
Yes. Trailer frames, axles, fenders and hardware are one of our most common marine jobs. Rust and failing paint come off in place and the frame is dry and ready for primer the same day.
Does laser cleaning work on stainless rails and cleats?
Yes. Tea staining, rust bloom and heat tint on stainless come off without scratching or grinding the surface.
Can you strip varnish off teak and brightwork?
Yes. The laser removes the old finish without sanding away the wood, and can be set to leave the stain if you want it kept.
